Here is a paper on Max Weber and Historiography leading to a twin project of mine, a new, forthcoming book with Cambridge University Press, 2025 on 'Early Christianity and the Challenge of Writing History' - a methodological reflection on autobiographical history writing - and the related exemplary writing of an autobiographical fiction, the novel which I have started to read in English (working title: Letting go; German: Nicht alle Tage).
